The information on the box states it is the "New Standup Cap". But consider when the tube of toothpaste is half finished and bent in the middle. It's not going to stand up at all. I find handling the new cap difficult and awkward. I will peruse all toothpaste boxes and choose the old cap. If the old Colgate Cap (which I love) is not available, I will buy something else.
