Scroll Saw 3d Relief Cuts in Wood

I saw this scroll saw technique on the American Workshop show and would like to try it someday.

Instructions:

1. drill a pilot hole tilted 2º to right
2. tilt scroll saw table 2º to left
3. cut counter-clockwise for relief outward. The cut piece will pop out of the wood surface
