Thoughts on Positioning after Retinal Detachment Surgery

A gas bubble will be injected into your eye after retinal detachment surgery. This gas bubble will press the detached retinal area back into your eyeball, sort of like an internal clamp. The surgeon takes advantage of the gas bubble’s property of floating upwards, opposite of gravity. This is where the purposeful “positioning” of your head angle and its importance comes into play. Your surgeon will tell you how to position your head in order to have the gas bubble push on a specific part of your eye that he wants to clamp in place.

Chatgpt On Chinese Social Media QQ

I have been on QQ Chinese social media for quite a number of years, and am now an administrator for a couple of QQ groups. Recently a couple of QQ groups have been able to use the Chatgpt API to connect with and allow Chinese group members to have a first-hand try at Chatgpt. Here are my observations.

QQ is one of China’s largest social media platform, where you can find friends, video chat, send pics and videos, participate in group chats, exchange money, listen to music, and more. The platform is less invasive than WeChat. Both are run by Tencent. I have become an administrator on a couple of English-only QQ groups.

This document was released on 2017 Oct 18 at the 19th Communist Party Congress (CPC), and is the roadmap China will use going forward. I usually do not read much Chinese propaganda, but this one seems to be repeatedly referenced, forcing me to come back and review this in greater detail, from the Chinese source through to translation. The implication of the first point, “Ensuring Party leadership over all work”, has strong implications for international trade, espionage and foreign relations.
