This skill is useful as you can take pics of your friends and place them in different places that they have never been! There are a couple of tricks to make your work easier and results look better. I’ve written some notes to accompany this video, but there’s also 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Import the image, add transparency
Once you import an image it will not have transparency. For this you will need to highlight the layer, colors-> transparency -> add alpha channel. You will notice that the layer name goes from bold to not bold. Duplicate the layer, just in case of a mistake.
dailyfeed.co.uk is using an image straight from my site and therefore stealing my bandwidth. I have tried to contact them but cannot find an email address.
One of their articles: http://www.dailyfeed.co.uk/2016/03/13-things-found-every-00s-kids-bedroom/6/ takes an image from my site. Why they are so cheap and not store the image on their site I do not know. I have banned them as a referrer, so hope this will stop.
Theft, and no less. Assholes. Alex Taylor, owner of dailyfeed.co.uk, you are an asshole.
Overall the Pinboard 1.0.7 and 1.0.10 themes for WordPress is a really lovely theme. It has lots of features and nice functionality. However you really never know a theme until you put a site into production and stumble upon its features and flaws. For Pinboard, I struggled with formatting the top banner for hours, until I discovered it’s secrets. While there is a forum for Pinboard, their help was sparse.
Site Title and Tagline: I wanted an image banner the width of the screen, or close to it. Pinboard has an option of a small banner coupled with a text site name and tagline. Since my graphic banner would include my site name and tag line, I turned off this feature.
This girl is a sticker on the road, but if you inadvertently run over her you were not paying attention to your driving. Pay more attention to the road.
