Trolls are everywhere on the internet where there is social interaction. A troll is anyone who participates in a internet discussion solely to provoke a negative reaction from others. They are not only disruptive and anti-social but can really clamp down on the free flowing discussion. With the anonymity of the internet this seems to unlock the nasty side of human beings. Even the venerated Roman Catholic Church’s Pope Francis has had experiences with trolls.

Fanboy, I am, on the Aquaclear (AC) line of aquarium power filters, specifically the AC20 to AC70 line. Not only are they reliable and serviceable, they are very flexible and easy to tailor to your specific tank needs. While there are some issues with noise, if you do regular filter maintenance you will be rewarded with stellar performance. There are a few customizations you can do that will make these filters even more flexible.
Moving from Rogers Cable to OTA TV necessitated the purchase of a new digital TV. We chose the 32″ Toshiba 32L1350UC because it was big enough and still able to fit into our existing multimedia cabinet.Overall the TV works remarkably well and is of high quality. There are a couple odd glitches that I have noticed.
I really wanted to get a larger TV, as the 32″ ones looked quite small in the showroom. I measured the distance from our couch to the TV and brought a measuring tape to the showroom. We measured out this distance to the TV. Surprisingly my kids said a 32″ was big enough, and there was no need to spend more money.

Since I became the self-appointed custodian of Imperial sewing machine information on the Internet I have had a slew of great posts and comments that have helped a lot of people with their old machines. Since installing an over the air (OTA) antenna and getting a digital TV here in Toronto, Canada, we have been somewhat out of the reach of the Canadian government’s CRTC legislation because we can now watch U.S. TV without mandatory Canadian content commercials. This new tool, American TV, has given me some new insights of our American neighbours.
Race: Clear in American TV is the predominance of Blacks and the lack of multiculturalism we have here in Toronto. Neither good nor bad, this black/white split is simply different and certainly does not reflect my neighbourhood nor Toronto. Watching US TV is like visiting a foreign country, which it is.
Sell I do, on occasion, on Craigslist and Kijiji. Nothing large or fancy, just little stuff we now do not need. The little cash we get is really inconsequential. There are, however, some hints and tips, to doing it efficiently and to avoid undue risk. Here are some of my guidelines.
I gave Rogers the heave ho, for both cable and internet, and feel better for it. Scummy, predatory, their service was. Over the air TV has replaced cable. It is not what we are used to, but saves us over $70 each month. Overall I would say that we are much better off without Rogers cable.
Over the air (OTA) TV is not all fantastic, though I did not know all the disadvantages and underestimated the advantages. I will discuss all I learned. With OTA we get 17 channels, which includes a couple of duplicate HD and SD channels, a French channel, though it comes in stunning HD, and a religious channel, also in stunning HD.
Dynam RC Flight Simulator USB is cheaply made. Wire in the cable broke internally, rendering the unit dead, and replacement necessary.
Little Weed really wants to learn RC planes. He has been through RC cars but got bored. The challenge of flight has drawn him in. Instead of destroying and losing many planes and lots of cash, it is recommended that we learn on a flight simulator program. To make the interface easier we bought a Dynam RC Flight Simulator USB, a simulated radio, which connects USB to your PC. At $40 I knew it was pretty cheaply made, and I was not surprised when it started glitching. We flew it for a few months before it stopped working, but from the beginning it has issues with reliably connecting to the PC. I knew something was wrong.
Intriguing, the mix of African and jazz, with a little Caribbean thrown into one song, is Lionel Loueke. His bassist was Massimo Biolcati. I did not catch his drummer’s name, so if you know them please tell me. There are a lot of Black musicians, but the mix of African language in song really adds a complex level of texture to the music, and I really like it. Markham Jazz Festival, August 17 2013, 5:00-6:30pm. They did not take much of a break either. It was a special event for me.
When you buy new fish to add to your existing aquarium, you really should quarantine the new fish in order to check them out. To add them in directly might contaminate your existing tank and/or make your new fish sick. You would then need to treat all your fish, new and old, to medical treatment and risk the possible loss of existing fish.
