I’ve always hated using hose clamps. I’d buy them from Home Depot and curse when they are installed and leak. I’d tighten them more and they’d deform and sometimes break. It did not dawn on me that, like everything else, there are different quality hose clamps than the crappy “All Gain” ones I use. This is particularly true for my compressor hose, which, over time, loosen and then leak. My compressor only needs 125psi.

Here’s a new type of spam or spoof that’s come up from leaving Youtube comments. They want you to use the Telegram app to contact them to get a prize or something else. It all looks very suspicious. The IP is indeed from Google, and it looks pretty legit, but don’t contact them.

It’s been well known that Youtubers who post anything against the Communist Party of China CCP will have their videos demonetized, thus denying them the ability to make a living.Youtube is owned by Alphabet, the parent company of Google.
I am not sure why Google would do the bidding of the CCP, as Google services are banned in China and cannot therefore make a profit. Perhaps Chinese advertisers pay Google for ads around the world, but just not in China, where they are banned.

Learning is difficult and always hit and miss. Of course it is best to learn from a competent teacher, but often you do not know anyone with such high credentials. Often I get an interest and learn on my own. You go to the store and ask questions. There are books to read and then you experiment, learning as you go. Of course your results may vary. After lots of projects you might get it right. Really, it is best to find a great teacher.

This is very disrespectful to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, or Jiefang Jun, and will probably get censored within China very soon, but is very funny. Since I am in Toronto, Canada, getting Toudou video is difficult. The original source is from Chinasmack. Thankfully others have uploaded Tudou video to Youtube. These are old videos of PLA plays, video mixed to modern songs. Though the lipsynching is not great, the whole video does pull it together.
